Teriyaki Madness Makes Fresno Debut With Massive Bowls and Epic Opening-Day FreebiesFresno, CA  (RestaurantNews.com)  Fresno, brace yourselves. Teriyaki Madness is officially bringing its madly delicious, glaze-drenched, hunger-destroying bowls to town with the grand opening of its newest shop at 6451 N. Riverside Dr. on Dec. 19. This marks the Seattle-style teriyaki brand’s long-anticipated debut in the Fresno market and its 26th location in the Golden State.

This isn’t just an opening. It’s a teriyaki takeover.

Guests lining up on grand opening day will score some seriously MAD Rewards:

  • The first five fans in line to make a purchase score free Teriyaki Madness for a year*. FOR A WHOLE DARN YEAR.
  • The next 20 fans in line receive free Teriyaki Madness for a month*. For anyone who thought Black Friday was intense, wait until they see Fresno on Dec. 19.
  • Plus, three days of $6 Chicken Teriyaki Bowls from Friday, Dec. 19 through Sunday, Dec. 21. The Fresno shop is owned and operated by Shogy Ahmed, who also owns the Visalia location that opened earlier this year. With shop number two on deck, Shogy is bringing even more Madness to the Central Valley and laying the groundwork for a teriyaki empire.

“Fresno deserved something different, something that doesn’t cut corners,” said Shogy Ahmed, franchise owner of Teriyaki Madness El Paseo. “We can’t wait to welcome guests into our shop. Everything we serve here is built on real ingredients, all cooked to order with undeniably high-quality sauces. You can taste the difference, and honestly, once people see the portion sizes, they’ll realize it’s game over for boring meals.”

Guests can expect the same over-the-top energy that has made Teriyaki Madness a favorite across the country. Gigantic bowls with customizable builds and proteins ranging from marinated chicken to salmon, steak or tofu. Additionally, that sweet signature teriyaki sauce, made without wheat fillers, making it naturally gluten-free.

“Fresno’s about to experience teriyaki the way it was meant to be,” said Jodi Boyce, chief marketing officer of Teriyaki Madness. “We’re not just serving bowls – we’re serving mood-lifting, sauce-drenched scrumptiousness that people can build exactly the way they want. Our shops are built for families, neighbors and anyone who believes meals should be memorable, a little messy and absolutely worth craving again the next day.”

Along with off-the-chain opening-day revelry, fans can take advantage of Teriyaki Madness’ Mad Dash curbside pickup program, catering options and the MAD Rewards app, which makes earning free bowls almost as madly addictive as the teriyaki itself.

About Teriyaki Madness

Teriyaki Madness (TMAD for short) is a fast casual Seattle-style Japanese concept founded in 2003. Known for its crazy delicious teriyaki bowls, TMAD offers a customizable, protein-packed menu featuring marinated chicken, steak, salmon, tofu, and fresh veggies over rice or Yakisoba noodles, complemented by signature sauces and sides like eggrolls and edamame. This isn’t your “average teriyaki” – it’s huge bowls of bold, healthy (or not – we don’t judge), over the top awesomeness. Cravings encouraged, chopsticks optional, and fair warning: these bowls are highly addictive. With nearly 200 shops across 40 states, the brand is rapidly expanding nationwide.
