FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

New York United States In Memoirs of an Old Fart: Tales I’ve Told So Often I’m Beginning to Believe Them Myself, author Kenneth A. Millman delivers a compelling memoir that reflects the grit, humor, and heart of an American life well lived. Through bold storytelling and reflection, the author turns decades of experience, from small-town adventures to military service, from newsroom deadlines to family milestones, into a chronicle that is as relatable as it is remarkable.
Spanning more than seven decades, the book offers readers a front-row seat to the author’s journey from a mischievous boy in postwar Massachusetts to a submariner in the depths of the Vietnam-era Navy. And later, to a journalist chronicling the changing face of America. Each chapter blends nostalgia and wisdom, offering insight into the resilience, humor, and humanity that define a generation raised on hard work, loyalty, and laughter.
At its core, the memoir is a tribute to Millman’s father, a World War II veteran who shaped his son’s values of integrity and perseverance; to lifelong friends who taught him the value of loyalty. And to the countless people and places that turned ordinary moments into lasting stories. The book’s conversational voice and unflinching honesty invite readers to reflect on their own histories, proving that every life, no matter how ordinary it seems, is worth remembering.
Witty, reflective, and deeply human, the memoir is more than a recollection of one man’s past. It is a reminder of the enduring power of storytelling itself. With humor as his compass and experience as his map, Kenneth reminds readers that the best stories are the ones that grow with us, and sometimes, the ones we’ve told so often that we begin to believe them ourselves.
Memoirs of an Old Fart: Tales I’ve Told So Often I’m Beginning to Believe Them Myself is available now on major online bookstores.
