PITTSBURGH, Feb. 20, 2026
PITTSBURGH, Feb. 20, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- "I wanted to create modified combs and a bonnet covering to help relieve a dry, itchy scalp without disrupting hair braids, wigs, weaves, cornrows, or dreadlocks," said an inventor, from Atlanta, Ga., "so I invented the Pat Tail, Pat Pick & Bonnet Patty. My design would effectively alleviate an itch in a more relaxing, soothing, and easier way."
The Pat Tail, Pat Pick & Bonnet Patty provide an efficient means of relieving an itch in between hair braids, wigs, dreadlocks, etc. In doing so, they eliminate the need to use traditional scratchers, fingernails, a pen/pencil, or pat the head. As a result, they increase comfort. They also help maintain the hairstyle. The invention features an adjustable and rechargeable design that is easy to use so it is ideal for individuals with hair extensions, wigs, dreadlocks, cornrows, and other hairstyles. Additionally, a prototype model and technical drawings are available upon request.
The original design was submitted to the National sales office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
